It has rained a lot here recently. Hard spring rains. A lot of the fields are saturated with water puddling at the surface. The saturated sunsets look great reflected in them.

This was a very windy day. Driving out past Selwyn I spotted these two tearing around in their field. I pulled over to snap a pic. They were curious enough to come check me out, but in seconds a gust of wind sent them scattering back towards their buddies.

Tuesday night I walked home in a hurry. I could tell the sunset was going to be stunning. I leaped into the car and shot to the nearest open space. The sky turned to flames but the wind blew cold. A huge bird of prey, maybe a turkey vulture, flew across the sunset.
