I’m finally finished my rubber boot photo project. This is Bill Kimball and Laurel Paluck. They’ve been working to help make Artsweek happen.
Through friends of friends I found the source of Jackson Creek.
The London Street Dam is one of my close-by favourite spots for photos.
There was an ice storm earlier in the week. Well, not exactly an ice storm. It was cold. It snowed. Then it started to rain. It was warming up slowly, but the rain still froze on each surface it touched.
Even in the middle of the day it seems dark. Everything is grey and cold and a little bit tired looking. But there’s a hint of sparkle.

This post is quite late but I have the best excuse. I was off the grid, in the forest, looking at autumn. And boy, was it ever nice to look at.
Drove through Warsaw today. The trees are just starting to turn.
