Thanks to everyone who participated in this exhibition. It was a great success and there has been lots of encouragement to create another show with the same idea.

The Peterborough Storefront Photography Project is an exhibition that celebrates both the photographic talent and the many entrepreneurs of Peterborough.
The inspiration for this exhibition came from old fashioned photos that show proud business owners in front of their storefront. However, the nature of business has changed since those photos were commonplace. This exhibition aims to recreate the feeling of those photos while integrating the new ways, places and spaces in which today’s entrepreneurs ply their trade.
The project pairs 16 photographers and 23 businesses to create images of business owners – in front of their stores, in their stores, in their yards, salons, and doorways – in the locations where they do their work.
